With the world-famous Carnoustie championship course, and the Old Course in St Andrews as well as a range of other exciting and historic courses, golf in Dundee, Angus & Fife is perfect for both seasoned golfers and beginners.

Carnoustie Country brings together 30 courses within a 40 minute drive so there is a great variety of fantastic courses for you to tackle during your time here. The illustrious Carnoustie championship course was created in 1850 but golf has been played across the Carnoustie links since the 1500s. This course has been a venue for the Open and is one of the best and most challenging courses, guaranteed to stretch your abilities and test your game on a new level. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship takes place over three venues - Kingsbarns and the Old Course at St Andrews in Fife and Carnoustie in Angus.

If you think you could benefit from some practice before you tackle a championship golf course, why not try some of the other gems in the area? Test your game on the Open qualifying course at nearby Monifieth and watch out for the clever bunkering of this links course. In the north east of Angus you’ll find two courses in Montrose - including the Montrose Medal Golf Course which is the fifth oldest course in the world, established in 1562.

There are a range of value-for-money golf passes available in the region, including the Carnoustie Country Golf Pass, Carnoustie Country Dream Ticket and the Angus Nines.
